The Willow Tree, Taunton

Devonshire Arms Hotel, Long Sutton

Step inside this impressive Grade II listed former hunting lodge and you’ll find an unexpected contemporary style, friendly staff and excellence throughout. The Devonshire Arms Hotel may be the ideal place for a Valentine’s weekend retreat with nine beautiful en-suite rooms and a restaurant highly commended for the Best Gastro Pub of the Year at last years Somerset Life Food & Drink Awards.

The White Post, Rimpton

The White Post is an award winning pub and restaurant that straddles the border between Somerset and Dorset and offers stunning views across the two counties. Castle Bow Restaurant at The Castle Hotel, Taunton

Set within The Castle Hotel, a former Norman fortress, the Castle Bow Restaurant took home last year’s Somerset Life Food & Drink award for Best Hotel Restaurant. The Babbling Brook, Shurton

Located in the small village of Shurton this family-owned and run freehouse is the place for those who want to get away, cosy up with a loved one and savour some fantastic food. A seven-course tasting menu is available this Valentine’s Day with lobster ravioli, beef bourguignon and triple chocolate panna cotta just a few of the dishes on offer.

The Pony & Trap, Chew Magna

Conveniently situated between Bristol and Bath, this 200 year old pub offers unrivalled views over the Chew Valley with an atmosphere to match and a modern yet classic interior. The Pony & Trap’s emphasis is on simple, delicious food with fresh ingredients sourced from across the Valley. La Perla Tapas, Bath
