Where better to start the inaugural Love Cooking festival tour than Bristol, widely celebrated as one of the South Wests most vibrant and dynamic culinary epicentres? For the first time Britains most popular chefs will take to the stage to demonstrate their culinary skills to a theatre full of cooking enthusiasts. The one-day event sees a host celebrity chefs presenting on stage, including James Martin, Gary Rhodes, Rachel Allen, Ainsley Harriott, Gino DAcampo, Valentine Warner and Thomasina Miers.
James Martin will be sharing his tips and recipes for cooking and eating with friends. Gary Rhodes was hailed as the man who first brought a modern twist to traditional dishes, reinvigorating British cooking and bringing back lost classics.
Rachel Allens easy-to-follow recipes reflect her philosophy that food is an integral part of life; her recipes come from the heart and are enjoyed in the home.
Ainsley Harriotts love of food is obvious and his passion for sharing his knowledge second to none. Calling on his Caribbean heritage, Ainsley brings food with warmth, spice and flavour. Gino DAcampos stylish Italian cooking enthuses the senses. Finally, Thomasina Miers and Valentine Warner will be special guests on the stage with James Martin to bring the day to a grand close.

Up-and-coming chefs and cookery school lecturers from The Cookery School at Bordeaux Quay will give demonstrations and display essential cookery skills.
Pre-show Performances Before each main stage presentation there will be a 15-minute pre-show performance hosted by Nigel Barden featuring talks and Q & A sessions.


Books for Cooks


Each theatre will offer a bookshop selling a full range of classic and most recently launched cookbooks, with limited editions and signed copies available. There will also be opportunities for book signings with the celebrity chefs before and after the shows.


Love Cooking Membership


As part of the ticket price, theatregoers will receive the limited edition Love Cooking Recipe Book, which includes 60 recipes from the celebrity chefs on the tour.
