The Rising Sun Inn

Archant

This beautiful 16 century Inn, offers a warm welcome, creative menus, quality ales and a collection of fine vintage wines.

The Rising Sun Inn The Rising Sun Inn

With it’s flagstone floor and oak beams, The Rising Sun offers a relaxing and characterful base to explore the Quantock hills.

Using fresh west country ingredients the Inn provides both a restaurant menu and a more causal style menu for lunch time adventures looking to scale nearby Wills Neck, the highest point in the Quantocks.

Signature dishes include everything from a simple Exmoor Steak cooked table side on heated volcanic stone, to fresh fish dishes full of flavour and innovative accompaniments.

Fresh Muscles and Porlock bay oysters are regularly on the menu along with freshly grown vegetables from the Inn’s own garden.
