Although Somerset is wonderful all year round, there’s something special about the county when the weather gets warmer, daffodils start to bloom and we can enjoy a cider in the sun

When the sun starts to break through the clouds…

…and shines upon Somerset’s iconic Cheddar Gorge

…you can’t help but smile at the spring vistas.

Especially the ducks that love splashing around on Cheddar Reservoir in the sun!

There’s plenty to see and do during spring at The Museum of Somerset, Taunton

….or perhaps explore the landscaped scenery of Hestercombe Garden

…and the subtropical plant life at Dunster Castle.

Discover the swathes of wild garlic at Bath’s Prior Park Landscape Garden

…or the blanket of bluebells in Leigh Woods.

Pretty blooms adorn Axbridge’s medieval centre…

…and daises can be found in the pretty village of Porlock.

You can pick up daffodils at Wells Market…

…have your fill with a classic cream tea

….or maybe indulge in a hot cross bun.

It’s nearly time to take a seat on the beach

…and maybe sip a cider in the spring sunshine!
