Life on the water in Portishead - Carol at Mezze

TV presenter Carol Vorderman unveiled a charity plaque at Mezze at The White Lion in Portishead in support of the chain’s new fundraising commitment helping to raise £2 Million for the Linac Radiotherapy Appeal.
Mezze Restaurants has nominated The Friends of Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre’s £2 Million Appeal as its chosen charity for the next year.
A Linac machine will equip the centre with the very latest tool to target tumours with millimetre accuracy.
Carol said: “This scanner is the most advanced in the country.This means twice as many people can use it in a week than a normal scanner.
It’s so important.”
