Cancer charity chief executive gives 30th anniversary fund raiser recital

Event: Spring Piano Recital - Glyn Berwick, Chief Executive Penny Brohn Cancer Care,

Glyn Berwick, Chief Executive Penny Brohn Cancer Care, invites you to celebrate the charitys 30th anniversary, with an evening piano recital held at the charitys centre in Pill.

Glyn, a classically trained pianist to diploma level, will come out of retirement for one night only, to offer a varied programme including both classical and modern music, designed to fill the heart, soul and senses.

Tickets: 18 per person or 30 for two, including drinks and canaps.

All proceeds will go to Penny Brohn Cancer Care

Event: Open Day as part of 30th anniversary celebrations

As part of the charitys 30th anniversary celebrations, Penny Brohn Cancer Care is opening its doors and inviting visitors to find out more about the life changing care on offer to people with cancer and their loved ones.

Cooking demonstrations, massage and relaxation sessions are just a few of the activities and therapies on offer all day, along with tours of the Centre and gardens, talks on living well with cancer and gentle exercise sessions.

Complementary therapies and nutritional advice are offered by the national charity as part of its unique combination of physical, emotional and spiritual support for people living with cancer.
