110th Festival Year held between Saturday 5th - Saturday 19th March 2011.<br/><br/>The Mid Somerset Festival (MSF) is an annual celebration of the performing arts and is one of the largest and oldest volunteer festivals in the country.

The Mid Somerset Festival (MSF) is an annual celebration of the performing arts and is one of the largest and oldest volunteer festivals in the country. This years Festival offers a wide variety of both competitive and non-competitive classes suitable for all ages, abilities and experience. Classes cover creative writing, speech and drama, music and this year for the first time, musical theatre.



This years extensive Festival Concert Programme showcases the best of the Festival performances in the City of Baths prestigious Guildhall Banqueting room. Concerts are held at 7pm on Saturday 12th and Saturday 19th March.



During the 14th March the Festival will host the Thelma King Award for Singers Finals in the Guildhall. This is a prestigious national award for singers who are making a career in music, with the concert final held at 7pm.



Tickets for all events can be obtained in advance from Bath Festivals Office, during the event period from the Festival Office at the Hilton Hotel, or at the venue door.



MSF Chairman, Paul Johnson commented, We are all very excited about this years Festival which we feel truly offers something for everyone and promises some great performances.
