An exciting new wellness centre is being launched at the former Rossholme School in East Brent.

An exciting new wellness centre is being launched at the former Rossholme School in East Brent.

The Clocktower, which is part of Rossholme, East Brent, will soon be home to a wide variety of therapists and classes, all focused on improving peoples mental and physical well-being.

Known as the Clocktower Wellness Centre, the site includes fully-equipped therapy rooms and a large hall, which can hold classes. Classes on offer include yoga, tai chi and zumba, and there will be a variety of therapists available, offering nutritional advice, massage and shamanistic healing.

The team behind the venture are Judy Webb, who is the former headmistress of the school, Ann-See Yeoh, a world-renowned fitness expert, and Kim Hambley, an experienced businessman.

Kim, who recently suffered heart failure and underwent open heart surgery, is focusing on improving his health and changing his lifestyle, so has experienced first-hand the benefits of using the Clocktower Wellness Centre.

He said: Since my surgery, I have been focusing on changing my lifestyle and have been looking into the benefits of the types of therapy offered at the Wellness Centre. Having seen the difference this change in lifestyle has made to my health, Im delighted to be working with Ann-See and Judy to develop the Wellness Centre and to be able to share these benefits with people across the area.

The team is holding a special launch event on Friday 20 January, Saturday 21 January and Sunday 22 January to showcase all that the Clocktower has to offer. Judy said: We will be opening our doors to the public at our official launch and look forward to welcoming them to the Clocktower Wellness Centre. We hope they will come along and see what we have on offer we believe there is something for everyone.

The Friday evening will be the official launch party and guests will be invited to have a look around the facilities and enjoy some wine tasting. Places need to be reserved for the wine tasting, so please contact the Clocktower for more information.

Saturday will see the Clocktower opening its doors to the public, with an open day running from 10am to 4pm. All the therapists will be on site and there will be the opportunity to have mini treatments and take part in mini classes. Mike Petersen will also be delivering a basic life support class from 12-1pm.

On the Sunday, there will be the first in a series of workshops, entitled The Power of Me. The first workshop will focus on professional mastery and work-life balance and is called Personal Mastery. The event features fantastic inspirational speakers, mainly from the Bristol and Somerset area and they will focus on everything from the spiritual state of money to time management and health and fitness. Booking is essential for this workshop, so please visit www.powerofme.co.uk to reserve a place.

Ann-See, who has more than 20 years experience in the fitness industry, mainly in the field of mind-body fitness, hopes people will be able to improve both their mental and physical health by visiting the Clocktower.

She said: Mental health and wellbeing is just as important as physical health and wellbeing and we wanted to reflect that at the Clocktower. From the moment people set foot in the beautiful surroundings at Rossholme, through their classes and treatments, we hope that they will leave the Clocktower feeling not only refreshed and revitalised, but also inspired.

If you would like to find out more about the launch event, to book an appointment at the Clocktower, or if you are a therapist interested in using one of the rooms there, then please contact the team on 01278 760219, email info@clocktowerwellness.co.uk, or visit www.clocktowerwellness.co.uk
