We have a pair of tickets to give away for a forthcoming Speedway Great Britain (SGB) Championship speedway match

Speedway offers its fans both team racing – with 26 teams in three UK leagues competing in 2019, spread geographically north to south from Edinburgh and Glasgow to Eastbourne, and east to west from Ipswich and Kings Lynn to Somerset and Poole – and individual competition, including the World Championship, run on a Grand Prix basis.

Speedway bikes have no brakes, just one gear, varied to suit the shape and size of the individual tracks, a clutch and 500cc engines which run on methanol fuel and can accelerate to 60 mph, faster acceleration than a Formula 1 car.
