Somerset Life Food & Drink Awards 2016: Butcher of the Year
PUBLISHED: 11:47 16 September 2016
This award supports and celebrates local independent butchers and recognises their invaluable contribution to Somerset’s food scene. We wanted to hear about the butchers who go above and beyond to source their meat from local farms and could tell you the best way to cook it. Our readers told us about their favourite local butchers and why they enjoy shopping with them.
The Somerset Life Food & Drink Awards are one of the biggest events in the local calendar and it is hugely anticipated by the region’s food and drink industry all year round.
We champion the best local producers, suppliers and businesses that are passionate about Somerset and the future of our local environment.
Thanks to both the nominations of the public and our well-respected judges, we have picked a winner worthy of the ‘Butcher of the Year Award’.
