Bristol's biggest and most prestigious designer-maker fair, the Made in Bristol Gift returns to Colston Hall with more than 200 stalls of hand-crafted gifts over four dates

Bristol’s biggest and most prestigious designer-maker fair, the Made in Bristol Gift Fair, is set to transform the Colston Hall once again as the popular, annual emporium returns for its seasonal showcase of the best of the region’s artists and artisans.

Thousands of visitors are expected to attend the free event, now in its eighth year, and taking place over four dates on Saturday 26 November, Saturday 3 December, Saturday 10 December and Sunday 11 December.

The Made in Bristol Gift Fair is a one-stop-shop, filling the majestic foyer of Colston Hall with more than 200 stalls of hand-crafted gifts over the four days. Perfect for those looking for unique and original Christmas gifts, each show offers a unique selection of the region’s most skilled designer-makers, from print makers to ceramicists; carpenters to weavers.

Located over the four floors of Colston Hall, the Gift Fair offers an eclectic range of locally-made and innovatively-designed products for all the family, including artwork, jewellery, toys, ceramics, clothing and home accessories.

The Fair is organised by local entrepreneur and founder of Made in Bristol Bryony Morgan and features a collection of well-known designers, including local favourites such as Bristol illustrators Hannah Broadway and Susan Taylor, alongside new talent such as jeweller Ceri Victoria Wills.

Bryony Morgan says: “The Made in Bristol Gift Fair is a firm favourite in the city’s Christmas calendar and each year builds on its growing reputation and success. For 2016, we are working with a huge range of quality makers and are joined by new, up and coming designers to provide a diverse and exciting celebration of creative talent, all brought together under one roof.”

Made in Bristol run arts and crafts events, exhibitions and pop-up shops in venues across Bristol to celebrate, showcase and promote the wealth of local creative talent.
