Lovers of Latin American music will have the chance to dance the night away and kick off the summer holidays in style. Less than a week after the Frome Festival finishes, the party starts again with the arrival of Italian musiciansMirko Casadei Beach Band at Cheese and Grain on Friday 20th July.

Currently the most famous dance orchestra in Italy, the band has collaborated with artists such as The Gypsy Kings and Kid Creole and the Coconuts.

UK Tour manager Loredana Waters says:

"Mirko Casadei Beach Band at Cheese and Grain on Friday 20th July. We are so excited about Mirko and his band coming to play here in Frome. Their show is a lively and hugely entertaining performance. There will be two beautiful Brazilian dancers, who will add colour and genuine Latin flavour, as well as an acoustic support act from Sicily called SoloSensi."

Bringing some much-needed sunshine to Somerset, their music combines sophisticated Latin Jazz, Brazilian Bossa Nova, Samba, Salsa, Mambo and Jive - they never fail to get the audience dancing.

"We really want to raise some funds for the earthquake victims of Emilia Romagna, where Mirko is from", adds Loredana, "so a percentage of the proceeds will be heading back to that part of Italy, where its badly needed".

Each ticket purchased will also have the chance to win a weeks self-catering accommodation on the Sicilian coast (flights and expenses not included).
