Bath Racecourse celebrates 200th birthday with 200 balloons and birthday lunch

As part of Bath Racecourse's 200 year celebrations, a birthday lunch and balloon release was organised on Friday 20th May.
As part of Bath Racecourses 200 year celebrations, a birthday lunch and balloon release was organised on Friday 20th May.
Over 130 customers, annual badge holders and friends of the racecourse gathered together for a fantastic celebratory lunch, climaxing with 200 balloons being released each containing a ticket to the courses pinnacle event of the 200th racing season on Saturday 20th August; The glamorous annual Ladies Day.
The birthday lunch was an opportunity for guests to join the celebrations going on at the course. Presentations from Tony Kelly, the Managing Director of Northern Racing and Holly Glover, General Manager at Bath Racecourse took place informing guests of the preparations for the birthday event in August as well as providing an opportunity to thank long standing supporters of the course.
Holly Glover, General Manager said The birthday lunch was a fantastic afternoon and great opportunity to celebrate 200 years of racing with our supporters. The feedback from everyone was fantastic and it also provided us a great opportunity to discuss our exciting plans for the year.
The afternoon climaxed by releasing 200 balloons from outside our brand new Bicentennial Suite each containing a complimentary ticket to our Ladies Day and 200 Anniversary Celebrations on Saturday 20th August.
Our birthday lunch and balloon release forms part of a series of celebrations to mark our 200th birthday. Celebrating 200 years is a brilliant achievement for any business and it will also be fantastic kudos for the City of Bath.
