The Piers Simon Appeal (PSA) has announced an impressive line-up for the sixth annual Home Farm Fest. The three day music extravaganza caters for all tastes, whether youre a rocking night owl or a hedonistic fan of all things classical. Festival goers can have fun at the same time as raising vital funds to help this Somerset based charity carry on with its life-changing work around the world.

The countdown is on for this rocking, toe-tapping charity event go online and buy your ticket now! Home Farm Fest is the perfect way to kick start your festival season on a musical high note. The PSA invites you to help them help others by making the annual Home Farm Fest the biggest and best yet.

The event runs from 10 12 June and takes place in the idyllic apple orchards of Home Farm, Chilthorne Domer, Yeovil. So why not pitch up, chill out and tune-in for a weekend of pure musical indulgence?

Fridays Posh Frocks and Wellies classical night stars three uber-talented live performers, including the critically acclaimed Belinda Evans with String Theory. Time to brush the mud off those wellies and start planning your outfit!

Saturday is bursting at the seams with a musical program of 11 live bands and a vibrant street dance group. The day starts with some melodic acoustic music at midday, leading up to the spine-tingling, mosh pitting rock madness that runs through till midnight.

This year the musical feast will extend into Sunday for the first time with four great bands performing from 11am - 3pm. This is the perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday and the ultimate remedy to help you recover from the night before. Soak up the tunes in a chilled out atmosphere.

Also on offer will be award winning local food from Wyld Meadow Farm and a full bar supplied by the Bakers Arms, Martock, so theres no need to bring your own. Throughout the festival an official photographer and film maker will capture all the action and illustrator artist Kate Chidley will be painting a scene of the festival. There is a designated children's area including a cinema screen and bouncy castle slide, the infamous tea tent, plenty of parking and camping including Rent a Tent.

Simon Coleman (pictured above) from the Bournemouth based band Weaver performed at Home Farm Fest 2009 and 2010. He comments, "Home Farm Fest is the best gig of the season and not to be missed. Luke and his family make us feel so welcome that we want to come back time and time again! Since our first appearance this has become our bands chosen charity and I'm glad to show my appreciation by supporting the PSA whenever I can. They do great work around the world and it's nice to feel close to something that you know is making a real difference. This years festival is going to be bigger and better than ever before and I can't recommend it enough!"

Luke Simon, Charity Liaison Officer at the PSA, comments, This year we are privileged to have some fantastically talented bands performing at Home Farm Fest, from Soprano, classical and jazz singers at Posh Frocks and Wellies on Friday 10th June right through to acoustic acts and serious rock bands on the Saturday and Sunday.

There is plenty of variety to cater for everyone and we think the balance between original artists and cover bands is just right. We are equally excited by the children's entertainment area which is being run by some terrific creative volunteers, helping Home Farm Fest become a great weekend out for the family particularly with under 16's having free admission. We are all looking forward to another wonderful weekend of great music in a friendly atmosphere whilst raising valuable funds for the PSA.
