The annual Cider Festival Racenight returns to Bath Racecourse for its fifth year on Friday 29th July.
The event is the course's busiest race fixture and is a West Country treat combining live horse racing, cider and a live performance from the West Country Legends The Wurzels!
Due to a record crowd attending the course in 2010 additional measures have been undertaken to ensure the course can cope with the bumper crowd. Additional bars and toilets as well as a larger stage have been ordered and the course will operate as one main Grandstand Enclosure to ease pressure on the facilities.
For 2011 the course will also be offering an exclusive Golden Circle ticket which will be limited to just 200 lucky racegoers. This special ticket will give front row access to The Wurzels performance in an exclusive golden circle. This ticket goes on sale on Friday (17th June) 6 weeks before the event takes place.
Holly Glover, General Manager at Bath Racecourse said This will be my first experience of the notorious Cider Festival with The Wurzels and Im really excited! Ticket sales are going well and we expect the limited Golden Circle ticket to sell out within the week. After a record attendance last year we have put in place additional measures to make sure we can cope with the crowds and Im certain the experience at the 2011 event will be an improvement on previous years.
