Somerset families are invited to meet the Easter Bunny and take part in a charity egg hunt at Monkton Elm garden centre this Easter.
FAMILIES from Somerset are being invited to meet the Easter Bunny and take part in a charity egg hunt at a garden centre in the county this Easter (March and April, 2013).
Monkton Elm Garden & Pet Centre is hosting activities in aid of Childrens Hospice South West (CHSW) on selected dates from Good Friday, March 29 until Friday, April 5.
Norma Moore, General Manager of the award-winning, independent, family-run garden centre at Monkton Heathfield, said: We hope lots of people join us and take part in our eggscellent fun and games. The Easter Bunny and the Easter Chicken will be on-site for children to meet.
There will also be an egg hunt around the garden centre in aid of CHSW, which will be very entertaining as well as for a worthy cause.
No booking is required, families can just come along and pick up a treasure hunt form from reception for instructions on how to take part. Youngsters can then hand in their completed forms at the reception desk and those with correct entries will receive a chocolate bunny to take home and enjoy.
The Easter egg hunt costs 2 per child and proceeds will be donated to CHSW.
The activities will take place at Monkton Elm Garden & Pet Centre, which was awarded the Albert Goodman Family Business Award at the Somerset Business Awards in 2012, from Good Friday, March 29 until Friday, April 5 during normal opening hours. The garden centre will be closed on Easter Sunday, March 31.
