A unique pop-up hotel which gives music fans a luxury base in the heart of rural Somerset is being unveiled in time for this years Glastonbury Festival.
Popping up next to the iconic Apple Tree Inn near the main entrance, fans can enjoy popstar luxury in safari-style bell tents with double beds, full English breakfast, valet parking, wood deck flooring throughout and hot showers just a fifteen minute stroll from the festival.
The Pop-Up Hotel is a family owned company based in rural Somerset, inspired by owner Mark Sorrill who plans to provide Pop-Up Hotels at festivals, Rural Retreats and a range of other events across the UK.
Mark Sorrill said: Booking the Pop-Up Hotel for the Glastonbury festival means you wont just be seeing the big stars, youll be treated like a big star.
Its hard to find a really special and different festival experience, but thats just what the Pop-Up Hotel will be providing - all the atmosphere of staying under canvas with the comfort and luxury of a really good boutique hotel.
You can forget all about lugging your belongings from the car to your tent in a wheelbarrow. And whilst its great to feel the love from your fellow festival goers, that doesnt mean you want to be able to see, hear, smell and touch them from your tent in the early hours of the morning!
The ultimate Glastonbury experience starts the moment you have your car valet-parked at the Pop-Up Hotel site and check into one of the luxurious canvas bell tents for the weekend. Security is provided by The Ghurkha Security Services so guests can happily drop everything and head off to the festival for fun and frivolity - just a 15 minute stroll or a five minute chauffeur drive away.
Mark Sorrill said: When you return to the Pop-Up Hotel field, tired and muddy, you can use the hot showers in the brand new shower/toilet block before visiting the pop-up restaurant or the chill-out bar area, serving drinks throughout the festival.
You can sit out on your deck and soak up the calming atmosphere before retiring to your full size double bed dressed in crisp cotton bed linen. Having woken fully refreshed, order room service from the locally-renowned gastro pub next door!
The Apple Tree Inn will deliver a full English breakfastto your tent providing you with the energy needed to do it all over again.
Mark Sorrill concluded: Its the full Glastonbury experience and a little more! If you want the ultimate backstage pass for the festival, theres still time to book.
The price starts at 995 for the classic bell tent for a four night stay over the Glastonbury weekend. A stay in the suite starts from 1,495. Spacious and custom designed, this tent incorporates a covered deck area, an en suite bathroom and king size bed.
The winner of an ebay auction for a Pop-Up Room for Glastonbury will be announced at a charity launch event in aid of No Strings International, The Willow Foundation and The Gurkha Welfare Trust to be held on Monday June 20 at the The Pop-Up Hotel site next to Apple Tree from 7pm till 11pm.
