Reaction Electric are a part of the Electric Bike and Electric Car Revolution that is happening fast in the South West.

Supplying electric bicycles, scooter motorcycles and charging posts confidently under one roof, Reaction Electric are excited to be part of this South Western lifestyle change. The new forms of emission free personal transport now available are all solutions to the problems of pollution, congestion and the well-documented ever-rising fuel costs.

Through April and May, Reaction Electric, based at their Taunton showroom are participating with Raleigh UK, the biggest name in bicycles, to attract people to try the 2011 Raleigh Dover 3SP Electric Bicycle. Reaction Electric and Raleigh UK are so confident people will enjoy the test ride of the Dover Electric that for every person giving just two words of feedback e.g. fast and fun or smooth and speedy, they will both put donate towards the charity Mercy Ships, totalling 2 for every reaction of their test ride. Not only is this a charitable cause, whoever gives their two words will be entered into a prize draw to win a brand new top of the range 2011 Raleigh Dover electric bicycle!

The promotion will be launched on Saturday 2nd April 2011 at the Reaction Electric Showroom 84, Priory Bridge Road, Taunton, TA1 1QA from 10.30am to 2.30pm. The campaign has already got plenty of interest and support, with the Mayor of Taunton and the Leader of Taunton Deane Borough Council taking the first rides. Refreshments will be available on the day.

Free medical care, relief aid, community assistance and long-term sustainable development in the poorest countries in the world

Proceeds from the promotion will go to Mercy Ships, an international Christian hospital ship charity that provides free medical care, relief aid, community assistance and long-term sustainable development in the poorest countries in the world.

Over the last 30 years, Mercy Ships has worked in more than 70 countries providing services valued at 530million and impacting around 2.9million people. The surgeons on board this ship perform operations on children and adults such as cleft lip and palate, cataract and cross-eye corrections, facial reconstructions, club feet and dental treatment.

If people are unavailable to make the launch on Saturday, Reaction Electric are open 9-5 Monday to Friday and 10-4 on Saturdays and the experienced staff will be happy to give you the test ride and answer any questions you may have.

This exciting and charitable promotion will culminate on the 4th June 2011 at the Bath and West show. The show takes place in Shepton Mallet, Somerset where the prize draw will be carried out and the winner of the brand new 2011 Raleigh Dover announced.
