The Curse of Miss Fortune by Michael Starr at Backwell Playhouse

An Edinburgh Fringe preview performance of Michael Starr's new stage play 'The Curse of Miss Fortune'. Michael's plays have been performed in Iran, America, Jordan and Northern Ireland as well as being broadcast on BBC Radio 4.

So whats a fella to do when hes down on his luck? Will Jonas be lured with the promise of prosperity? Will Miss Fortune strike again? Perhaps the choice rests withthe audience!

A minimalistic satire comedy mixed with a touch of noir. Featuring a gullible couple, a sex-mad boss, a seductive femme fatale, an angry landlord and a flirty secretary. Possibly the best must see, 1950s inspired, pig-based comedy stage play to hit the stage this year so far.
