As part of its audience development programme the Hawk Conservancy Trust will be working in association with Longleat Safari Park to deliver a brand new, summer season, bird of prey show Hunters of the Sky - at the historic attraction near Warminster, Wiltshire.

Ashley Smith, Chief Executive Officer, at the Hawk Conservancy Trust said this has been a really exciting project for us. We are so pleased to be working in association with Longleat, and providing this amazing bird of prey show. We are also currently discussing joint conservation objectives that could be developed into projects, which would enhance our work with several species of African vulture. I am really looking forward to working with the team at Longleat on future conservation initiatives.

Art Exhibition opens at the Trust

An exhibition of sculpture and three-dimensional design has opened at theTrust, providing additional interest around the 22 acre site.

The exhibition entitled Flights of Fantasy is being curated by Elizabeth Hodgson, herself an acclaimed sculptor. This is her first collaboration with the Trust, where the intention is to create an all-year exhibition with seasonal changes. All the artwork is for sale, with the Trust receiving a commission.

The exhibition is organised in a meandering trail that leads visitors through the beautiful grounds of the Trust, under the watchful gaze of the resident birds of prey.
