Staff at the Taunton office of regional Chartered Accountancy firm, Albert Goodman, enjoyed various beauty treatments, provided by Rachel Knight from Vie At Home, to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support.

The treatments, which were offered in 15 minute sessions, included mini facials, makeovers and hand and arm scrubs. Staff also bought Vie At Home products. The cost of each session and a percentage of the Vie At Home sales were given to Albert Goodmans charity of the year, MacMillan Cancer Support, and raised 70.

Albert Goodman was the first company to sign up to the Macmillan Cancer Support Centenary Business Challenge. Launched in the New Year, the Challenge asks for 100 companies across the county to raise 1,000 each for the charity.

Debbie Ward, who organised the fundraising event commented, All of Rachels sessions were fully booked and combined with the sale of the Vie At Home products we raised a considerable amount of money towards our MacMillan Cancer Support target. It also added a little glamour and sense of well-being to the office!
