On May 30 Jacqueline Perry is climbing Pen-y-Fan, the highest mountain in South Wales to raise funds for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).

This is a charity close to her heart as her son Luke was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes three years ago at the age of eight. Type 1 affects 400,000 people in the UK, 26,000 of them children.

It is a chronic, life threatening condition which has a life long impact on those diagnosed with it and their families.

Should you wish to support JDRF in finding a cure, please sponsor her at http://www.justgiving.com/Jacqueline-Perry
