The very first jars and bottles of the award-winning Fussels Fine Foods have arrived on the shelves of Asda this month as the retail giant demonstrates its commitment to the Somerset brand.

The buyers at Asda tried our products and loved them so weve been working hard to ensure that we can live up to their expectations commented Andy, owner of Fussels Fine Foods. After all the hard work weve put in its amazing to see it on shelves at last.

However, further success was yet to come as two of the seven lines stocked by Asda, Mint Mayonnaise and Beer & Horseradish Sauce, sold out unexpectedly during their first day on sale prompting the supermarket giant to hurriedly make a repeat order.

Nevertheless, more triumph was to follow, as Fussels secured deals with several more big-name stores including Tesco and Waitrose. As Andy recalls; The rapeseed oil market has become increasingly competitive so were ecstatic weve been able to create a range of products good enough to attain the support of several important clients.

Though Somerset farmer Andys pitch was turned down during his appearance on Dragons Den in 2010, he and the company have gone from strength to strength in the years following his appearance on the popular show the company has grown year-on-year since 2010, and has quadrupled its value stated Andy, who cited the companys blend of strong branding, hard work and delicious British produce as the key to Fussels success.

However, Andy cannot help but praise the supermarket giant that helped propel his business in to the spotlight; We want to thank Asda for believing in us and hope this success continues.

Fussels products are now available in Asda stores throughout the south, Tesco stores in the south west as well as select Waitrose stores nationwide. All Fussels products are also available to order online: fusselsfinefoods.co.uk.
